A full, valid passport with 6 months validity is required for travel.

What to bring?

Nairobi is only 90 miles south of Equator so the sun can be very hot but its altitude means that it’s never humid and nights can be cool.  The same is true of the game parks and up-country.  Mombasa is more humid with average temperatures of 30 degrees.  If you burn easily then light cotton shirts with long sleeves are advisable.

We suggest you bring the following:

Sun-tan lotion, hat, sunglasses, camera, comfortable walking shoes, rubber shoes for watersports, pull-over or light fleece for evenings, waterproof jacket, mosquito repellent + spray, swimming costume, voltage/plug adaptors where necessary, Imodium, Panadol, etc.

For certain trips (i.e. hiking and biking) specific clothing/equipment may be required - refer to your trip itinerary or email us for further details.

Please label all baggage carefully, including your name, contact number and destination.

Avoid packing valuables in check-in baggage. Use robust suitcases and bags (for walking/mountain bike safaris use rucksacks as opposed to suitcases and bring a day-pack).
