In Kenya we work with Diving the Crab and Diani Marine - Kenya's top dive schools. Both are based at Diani Beach on the South Coast of Kenya and are accredited to run PADI and SSI dive courses. Diani Marine was established in 1978, Diving the Crab in 1983 so both schools have nearly many years experience of scuba diving in Kenya and operate very well run dive bases, equiped with the latest equiment, dive boats and high qualified instructors and dive masters. Available courses include the following: Discover Scuba Diving, a short course involving one theory lesson, one pool lesson and a dive in the sea, to get a taste of what it is all about. Other courses include: Discover Scuba; Passport Diver; Open Water Diver; Speciality Diver; Advanced Open Water; and a range of instructors courses. All courses are SSI or PADI accredited.

We organise trips for single, double, half day and full day dive excursions.
Within 25 minutes boat ride from our bases we can offer 32 different dive sites which are listed below.
We also organize twice weekly boat excursions to Chale Paradise Island, which is located in Chale Marine Reserve.
We also offer a number of sea-orientated safaris for divers and non-divers to some of the fabulous sites in the area. The excursions include island trips to Chale Island, Wasini Island and the incredible Kisite Marine Park, Pemba Island and the Kaskazi catamaran cruise.
Diving Equipment
Our fleet consists of 15 fully functional dive boats, some of which have been custom built in Kenya. All our boats are powered by Yamaha or Mercury outboards giving us speeds of 20-40 knots, thus ensuring a quick and enjoyable ride to all our dive sites.
Between our various bases we have 250 cylinders and 150 full sets of equipment which are immaculately maintained and serviced every 6 months. We have no equipment over two years old.
With the exception of Nitrox and Rebreather equipment, we work principally with Mares and Free Shark.
Our Nitrox and Rebreather centers are the only ones found in East Africa, all fitted with state of the art equipment.
In addition to PADI and SSI courses, we can arrange Pool Reviews for those who have not dived for 2 years or who have lost their certificates, and Pool Checks for those who have not dived for 6 months.
