See game up close and personal! Experience Africa in the way that you never could cooped-up in a car.

Trek along the same trails as the game and feel what it's like to walk into a clearing and come face-to-face with a herd of elephant!

We have walking safaris to suit all tastes - from laid-back wilderness walks to more demanding bush treks and hiking in the foothills of Mount Kenya.

All walks are accompanied by qualified and highly experienced safari guides who will teach you about the natural habitat, fauna and flora, explain the medicinal value of plants and teach you how to track animals.  On many walks your will accompanied by Masai guides and you may have the opportunity to gain a special insight into their nomadic and pastoralist way of life by visiting their 'Manyattas' (homesteads).

In Kenya our walks take place in the Chyulu Hills, Loita Hills, Hell's Gate National Park, Masai Mara, Rift Valley Lakes (Naivasha, Nakuru, Elementeita, Baringo), Mount Kenya, Laikipia, Lewa, Namunyak and Selenkay Conservation Area.

In Uganda and Rwanda we run gorilla and chimp treks where you will have the opportunity to see the magnificent Silverback Gorilla in its natural habitat.  Click here for further information.

We can arrange walking safaris based around teaching survival skills and bush-craft (see below).

Other activities that can be combined with walking safaris include: birdwatching, survival skills, rock climbing, caving, mountaineering, mountain biking, horse riding, camel riding, rafting and kayaking, kitesurfing.
