Level 1 - Learn to WindsurfThis will take you from complete beginner, teaching you the basics of windsurfing on modern 'wide-style' equipment and super-light sails; enabling you to sail to where you want to go to and to sail back to where you started from.Theory of windsurfing and the wind.  Using a windsurf simulator. Safety briefing.  Carrying the board and rig separately. Uphaling the sail and balance on the board.  Sailing across the wind; upwind and downwind; power control; steering; sailing a triangular course. Basic tacking and gybing.None1 Day110 Euro
Level 1 - 1 Hour SessionAs for Level 1.  One hour sessions enable you to fit in windsurfing with other activities whether you're starting from scratch or building confidence.  Also ideal for those who only want to do a few hours at a time.One on One sessions with an instructor (where available).  None1 hour sessions22 Euro per hour
Level 2 - Improving TechniquesAfter Level 1, fine tuning your basic skills to make your windsurfing faster and smoother. New techniques such as the beachstart and introduction to the harness you will be geared up and ready for the excitement of higher winds covered in level 3.Introduction to the beach start. Improved stance on all points of sailing; basic harness technique; using the daggerboard (where applicable). Improved tacking and gybing. Theory.Must have completed Level 1.  Should be able to sail on all points of sailing in light winds.1 day110 Euro
Level 2 - 1 Hour Session 1-on-1As for Level 2.  One hour sessions enable you to fit in windsurfing with other activities and short sessions mean you don't get tired.  Also ideal for those who only want to do a few hours at a time.One on One sessions with an instructor (where available).  Level 1.1 hour sessions22 Euro per hour
Supervised WindsurfingFor those who have already completed a Level One or Two course, we offer the opportunity to use our equipment to practise your newly learned skills under our safety umbrella. Sailing takes place when there is sheltered water available. Sailing on your own, supervised by an instructor who can offer tips and advice when necessary.Level 1.1 hour sessions22 Euro per session or 100 Euro for 5 sessions
Level 3 - Introduction to PlaningThis is where harness and footstrap techniques, combined with improved stance will get the board planing and give you the exhilaration of speed. Faster tacking and more dynamic gybes.Beachstarting in a variety of conditions. Harness and line adjustment and using the training straps; planing stance. More advanced tacking and gybing in stronger winds. Self rescue; towing another sailor. Theory. Must be a competent level 2 sailor.  1 day120 Euro per day
Level 4 - Planing TechniquesSailing a short board.  Waterstarts and carve gybes. The next step towards carve gybing is what you'll be learning - carving into the turn but coming out non-planing. Learning to tack shorter boards will keep your options open.Waterstarting; sailing shorter boards; carve gybing in planing conditions; early planing techniques, improved stance, tacking a shortboard.Must be a competent level 3 sailor.  Able to sail comfortably in the footstraps and harness in planing conditions.3-5 day clinic120 Euro per day
Level 5 - Advanced Sailing TechniquesOnce you've mastered the strap to strap carve gybe, more advanced gybing such as the duck and slam gybe can be tackled. An introduction to wave sailing, with launching and recovery, jumping and landing - leading to the cutting edge of windsurfing.Beachstarting in waves; clew first and light wind waterstart; jumping and wave riding; shortboard carve gybe; slam gybe; duck gybe; slalom gybe; tacking shorter boards; Tuning; Advanced theory.Level 4 standard.    Be able to carve into a gybe but not necessarily exit planing; can waterstart confidently. Want to learn some posing manoeuvres!3-5 day clinic120 Euro per day
