School - With the most advanced equipment on the East African coast our windsurf school is loaded with Naish equipment and located on the idyllic Diani Beach. We provide courses for absolute beginners to advanced levels with video support as well as rentals and safety boat support. You can also stay in one of the bungalows or chalets onsite and just crawl out of bed onto your kit!
Conditions - The light morning breezes and sheltered lagoons are ideal for your first crack at this great sport. The flat water inside the reef is ideal for the more experienced rider to just blast around or perfect those carve gybes. The reef provides excellent wave riding and jumping ground for the more advanced.
Ideal for all levels. Bring your sunnies - leave your wetsuits at home.
Winds - The Kaskazi and Kuzi tradewinds provide reliable conditions from November through to the start of May. It blows 10 knots in the morning providing perfect conditions for beginners and by early afternoon you are just about guaranteed 15-20 knots of side shore warm tradewind. Your only limitation will be your stamina.
The monsoons of June - August blow a stronger wind that picks up the reef break to provide excellent wave riding and jumping and althought the weather is cooler (24/27 degrees C) the strong winds make this an excellent time to come.
Equipment - Brand new windsurf gear from Naish Hawaii. We have a range of equipment from Kailuas, Titans, Vector and Wave boards with Vantage, Evolution, Session and Boxer sails rigged on Naish booms and Naish carbon masts.
Windsurf rentals - We offer a range of rentals from only $18 for 1hr up to 21 full day rentals as well as split hourly rentals. Our prices are some of the best in the world and allow you to pick what is best for you and your trip.
Windsurf courses - With a range of courses to match the RYA levels 1-5 the reliable conditions will ensure you progress quickly. One hour beginner lesson costs only $18 and full days course only costing $125 (around £75). Far cheaper than anywhere in Europe.
Combine windsurfing with mountain-climbing, white-water rafting and a range of safaris to create a windsurfing holiday that no other destination can offer.
