Stilts Barbour's Eco-Camp and Campsite

Stilts is an eco-camp and campsite, situated in tropical forest just 200m from Diani Beach.
It consists of 5 "tree-houses" built out of local materials and nestled in the tree canopies.
The bandas don't have their own facilities but share the communal toilet and shower block. The toilet/shower block was recently built and is cleaned every day.
All of the tree houses have double or twin beds with mosquito nets, and their own private veranda/balcony. Being up in the tree canopies means that the rooms benefit from the sea breeze.

The "Stilton" Pub and Bar
At the centre of the camp is the Stilton Pub - with a well-stocked bar and a laid-back atmosphere complete with "funzi" beds for lazing around in the evening or during the heat of the day. The kitchen serves food throughout the day at reasonable prices.
There is also a large camp fire in a clearing in the forest - the ideal place to swap stories at the end of the day.

Camping - there is an area set aside for campers; most of the pitches benefit from the shade of the forest. The campsite is set in 7 acres of coastal forest on the opposite side of the road to Forty Thieves and Ali Barbour's Cave, approx 200 metres from the beach.
Stilts is just across the road from Forty Thieves Beach Bar - Diani's most vibrant beach bar and restaurant and a popular evening hangout for expats and visitors alike.
There is an internet cafe at Forty Thieves and the main Diani Shopping Centre is a short walk (or matatu ride) away.
Access to the beach - Stilts is on the west side of Diani Beach Road - access to the beach is through Forty Thieves Beach Bar.
