Description

Chui Lodge, set in the privately owned Kongoni Game Sanctuary, is an exclusive and exquisite paradise overlooking a waterhole with the dramatic Mau Escarpment as a backdrop.  Chui is crafted from local stone and Acacia, Leleshwa and Olive woods with a beautiful twisted Marula roof. The eight individual cottages are built in the same fashion. Each room has en-suite bathrooms and veranda with marble basin tops, roaring log fires, and four poster King sized beds. A delightful heated swimming pool with great views of the waterhole and the escarpment is a short walk from the main building. 

Guests will be offered guide Game Drives and Walks within the 20,000 acres of the Sanctuary and along the lake front. 

Encounter 320 bird species and a wide array of wildlife including White Rhino, Buffalo, big and small cats, a large variety of antelope and the Grevy Zebra on your own private and exclusive game drive or game walks.

Along with game drives in our private sanctuary we are also able to offer sundowners (watching the sunset with a drink and fire whilst listening to the noises of the African dusk), truly the only way to end a hard day of game viewing! On the way back to the lodge our guides will take you for a night game drive, this gives a whole new perspective on the sanctuary and using our night lights, greatly improve your chances of seeing Leopard, Lion, Aardvark, Zorilla and Spotted Hyena. Day trips to Lake Nakuru National park famous for flamingoes, rhino and leopard are also available.

From £750 per double for 2 nights full board including return road transfer from Nairobi, day and night game drives in the sanctuary, local beer, soft drinks and house wine, boat trips, day trip to Lake Nakuru National Park, Park fees. etc.
